At Van Doorne, increasingly complex client matters call for collaboration across teams, practice groups and disciplines. The ambition: a One Firm organisation that combines top-level expertise with human leadership, where professionals share responsibility for the best solution for the client.
Approach
We guide Van Doorne on two levels: leadership and teams. That way, we translate the organisation's ambition into concrete behaviour in day-to-day practice.
For partners, counsels and senior staff, we developed a long-running leadership programme, to work alone and together on leadership, ownership and collaboration. We also organise a partner retreat every year, with shared leadership and collaboration as its common thread.
We also work with the teams themselves. Existing patterns are broken, collaboration is strengthened, and teams are supported in working as a single firm. This is how Van Doorne grows into a strong One Firm organisation.
